Re: Power Wheelie?

Try switching your front and rear tires with eachother... it's prolly tire wear... :

Re: Power Wheelie?

have you tried losing the front tire altogether? I did it on my busa and it'll stand straight up. If that doesn't work, go uphill sitting on the very back. Let me know what happens, I'm in the market for a wrecked gixxer.

Re: Power Wheelie?

All of the above is good BUT no one even highlighted the basics and the most imp stuff...

You have to set your bike up, which would be chaing the gear ratio...
go up +2 on the front and then aleast -6 in the rear.......

Once u have set the sprockets up, you need to put enoguth air in your front and rear tires... front tire should have 50psi and rear should have 60spi..

And dont forget make sure the chain has plenty of slack.... Then go to about 50 miles, and open wide throttle. the bike will definately sky rocket up, if it doesnt then u didnt do it right........

Re: Power Wheelie?

don't listen to any of these guys. Just give it gas, then let off a sec, then crank it to full throttle and it should lift right up. If not just bounce on the pegs when you let off.

I have a gixxer 5000 and I know its a little bit bigger motor but a 1000 should come right up, trust me I can get my 5K up in 11th gear on my residential street at 231mph while there are kids playing.

Re: Power Wheelie?

don't get helium, try hydrogen, its lighter than helium and is very explosive, which will lift the front tire right off the ground!!!!!!!!!

If that don't work, kill yourself cause your weren't meant to wheelie a bike.

Re: Power Wheelie?

Damn, this thread is cold. If the guy is just starting to learn wheelies, why not help the brother out. He might actually be out there trying this stupid **** and hurting himself. You have to help the special people.
