Re: 600rr's

I agree with bullo I have a 05 600RR and the bike is amazing. It does have a pretty small stock sprocket but if your a good rider that shouldn't make a difference Besides its a honda what more could you ask for.

Just use a traction pad like Jacob Brunelle on his f4i.

Re: 600rr's

The 600rr stalls easier than an f4i. Even geared it will die easier...so it's not quite as forgiving on the slow stuff.

As far as the tank, all you have to do is dent the hell outta the metal tank then cut off the top of the plastic tank cover to match the dent....works alot better than melting the cover.

Re: 600rr's

I rode the RR that marc is talking about pretty frequently. I love that thing it is perfect... It wheelies easy as hell..... it wheighs like 2 pounds.. .. with a dented tank it would be just that... perfect...... I was talking to marc and he said they are a ***** to work on. with the idle control cable fixed, I dont think there is much more to worry about... I mean, come'on it's a honda....

The 600rr feels more twitchy on the gas and not as forgiving on low rpms like the f4i. But in the end maybye its a good bike... seems to be rocksolid(just like the f4i) my buddy crashed his bike every day and it hold up very good. If you like it buy one it's def. not crap!

Re: 600rr's

I love my RR, I have a melted tank and a cut tank....I like the melted a lot better, got the top covered in line-x and works great. I'm 17 up 1 down and it pulls easy in any gear for lot to highway. After talking to Bullo I went with DB bars, and went streetfighter about a week or two ago. 905 makes a 12 bar, but I just got together with Brian Smith from www.midweststunters.com and built one! Got a 905 cage and it takes a beatin pretty good. There is some helmet cam vid on www.midweststunters.com, got to "riders" then "dillen", just a lil hghway fun. I'm learin still but have seen my bike do no handers with very little gearong and before I added a second idle screw. There might be a pic or two on www.myspace.com under my profile after the streetfighter transformation!

As far as the motor, I've run it pretty hard while rding, stuntng, and running from the cops and runs great. I had put a power commander on there that connects to my laptop before I decided to stunt it....seems to smooth everything out real well, and with Jardine exhaust for $210 its capable of evading high speed pursuit while beeing load as hell and lokkin good.....although it wasn't me, nor my bike!!!

thats how i did my first tank.....was great for awhile, but the zipties shredded jeans like crazy for me, but I'm a big boy...240ish!!! I've got it melted now and at about the same level, with a little more lip along the back. I got the Line-X done, seems to hold good and spares my jeans :YEAH

You guys should come out here to KC this summer, G was talkin like late july or august or somin.

Yeah, I thought I heard august or september or somin, but think I heard that awhile back too......maybe the meant in like 20 years, you know, when motorcycles have hovercraft set-ups instead of tires, and you flip a wheelie switch. Then they "beam" themselves out here and ride

I'm still waiting for Dan Jackson to set a date for the Circle the City Ride, and I think KCMW has a ride on the 17th of July in KC, should be fun......everybody should come!! :YEAH <-- they can't arrest us all!!!!

Re: 600rr's

I dunno about the whole stalling easier business. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I run HH pads in my f4i but that thing stalls so damn easy. I rode the rr and didnt feel like I was gonna stall it at all. Maybe my bike is just a piece of ****!?!?!?!?>>>>>.....oh well
