acros
this needs to be said acros are ****in sick, and not gay...let me prove my point i was in NY for a stunt comp this past weekend and the person who won did sum burnouts, couple combos nuthin major, and then he did a handstand, gorrilla roll, handstand, aciddrop etc..needless to say he won against people doin combo circles, and 1 guy who did 1 hc circle. granted those are also sick tricks i jsut am glad to see that u can win a comp without doin a single circle. with that said i am in the crashing process, of leanring acid drops, and gorilla rolls, and goin to the gym for handstands. not to mention on a crowd judgeed comp they win hands down.

Re: acros
As a spectator, I think the acros are pretty cool. You do have to have a lot of control and balance to do that kind of stuff on a moving bike. I especially like the gorilla roll. That is a real crowd pleaser. :YEAH

Re: acros
Okay yep I know exactly what you are talking about...
I like acrobatics just because they add an element of danger that a lot of other tricks do not encorporate. For a lot of acrobatic tricks, you have have to relinquish control of the bike, and put yourself in a position where that control is not easily recovered. That kid from spain who backflips from the watchtower is phenomenal. They are definitely more of a "showy" thing, than exhibiting extreme control over your bike (like a 500+ ft. stoppie would) And you definitely need to have some of them under your belt to be a well rounded rider.
Someone should mount up one of those sweet hand brakes that you used to be able to get on inline skates, and so some christ stoppies, or christ circle wheelies. That would be pimp. :YEAH

thats jeff from xfr, the guy in the picture.
ryan: yes i agree there msotly *****,and not as much skill, but thats all people are doin today are hb shyt and circle combos, granted those are sick and the hardest shyt out there, thats all they do...th guy who won did a stoppie, sum combos and acros, just so u dont he won with acros only.
doodle: are u tellnig me u think sumone doing a gorrilla roll is boring, but sumoen doing frog circles isnt...i dont care wat trick it is, if its in a circle i can watch about 2 rotations, before its like "wow hes guan do it again, in a circle"
what i think im trying to say,,,lol is that people need to pay more attn to this shyt, cuz the crowd lvs it, and it makes u a well rounded rider.
