Re: acros

a highchair power wheelie is more entertaining than acros any day of the week, but that's just my opinion....if we are doin shows at a drag strip the crowd loves acros.....i'm just not a fan of watchin it.

As a rider, I am considerably more interested learning a trick that will take me months than one that I can learn the first day trying.

Now on the other hand(spectator), when I watch videos, I get bored watching circle combos after about 2 rotations. Come to think of it watching a gorrilla roll is boring more than once or twice too.

Amen to that. I have a hard time doing a barrel roll just to get out of bed in the morning.

yes anything repeated to much gets boring, but id imagine ur reaction to the guy from king of the south doa backflip from the tank into a tail skitch was alot mroe "holyshyt" then sum guy doin a flam circle....

aslso it seems to me i can d/l any vid today and see circles of sum sort, i hafta look long and hard to find one with any acros in it...now im not knocking circles of any type, i think they area all sick and im working on them my self, andd i have much respect for those who can do them becuase there ****in hard, but i think people get to caught up in it, and then all they do is circles. for example and from wat ive heard correct me if im wrong, but mana's run at stuntwars...sick shyt , but htat all he cud do

not to mention people get so into it that they cant even do a pop a wheelie with out the idle up and raping the hb

Re: acros

i'll refer to kains post about bar tricks and skitches.. as he said who do you want to impress more.. the crowd or the few stunt riders.. do what the crowd loves, and you'll get the best responce. get well rounded skills to bust all out :D granted yes circles combos and other stuff take more technical skills and bike handling without a doubt. if you want to make it in the sport be well rounded in all, Acro, bar tricks, circles, combos. the crowd loves acrobatics, they think power wheelies are harder than the slow **** still and more impressive. Kain and Kyle woods, both well rounded, and both win major events. i don't recall seeing kyle do any circles in his stuntwars run if i recall and he won it all. just my

Re: acros

A 12 yr old gymnist girl could do acros...

Most people I know doing Acros, can't balance out a highway wheelie.

But, I have to say... Christ's are the newest hotness... If you can do those, Side skitch, standing still burnouts, and 1st gear sitdown power wheelies... You will rule the universe. Not to mention win multiple big shows with ease.

DAMN STRAIGHT! Not everybody cares about being a supastar. If you want to be famous.. paint your bike some gay color, get a big 12 bar and learn how to do flips and shut the hell up. hahah.

Props to people pullin off some of that higher speed acro stuff. I dont care if it takes a whole lot of skill or not.. it does take a bit and its dangerous as hell.

Re: acros

at one point i was doing them back in the day but then they got old.

It's true about people doing acros not knowing how to wheelie very well. But it's the same with people killin' all sorts of wheelies and not knowing any acros worth watching.
