SFIX riders rocked Daytona
For those of you that didn't get a chance to attend the Starboyz event in Daytona, you really missed out. The fact that the best of the best were there was enough to make it fun, but it went so far beyond that. Everyone had obviously worked hard since last year, and they got their first taste of satisfaction. Friday night they were tired after riding a solid 8 or 9 hours, and were getting ready to put it up for the night, until an unexpected appearance from Streetfire out of Brazil arrived. They showed up expecting to steal the show, and I think they got a huge surprise. They went into the arena and blazed a couple circles and expected to shock the guys into subimission, but little did they know.........
Brandon got ballistic and pulled a 12 that ripped his rear fairing off and it was over from there. They acted like they had just drank a tanker of Red Bull--holy **** they were pumped. Ant and Brandon blazed circles until they were dizzy, sending the Brazilians into a state of shock and a huddle with their coach. Pat felt the inner "Flim Flam" and followed with his "in your face skillz". Joe Brown and Angel got nuts and pulled off their sick signature "hitchhiker", impressing the crowd and riders alike. Eric showed his face for the first time, rocking the house with his one handed circles on the TTR. It was the first time the guys got together as a team and they worked beautifully together. They continued this back-and-forth battle for about an hour or so, until the Brazilians were well aware of their unexpected defeat. After that they all shared tips and rode to ride. I am so proud of everyone, and more excited then ever for this year and the well deserved opportunity for the guys to begin to reap the benefits of their efforts. There is no doubt that they are smiling as their blisters, knees, and feet heal! You all kicked *** and you couldn't of started this year in a better way. Scott, Brandon, and Brock picked a great location that was uneffected by the rain, and helped to make a strong statement for 2003. This is going to be a great year!
D
P.S. For those of you who dont know, Thew's stomach-clenching endo was World Record material. Although the space was too small for him to join the battle, he helped to set the tone for the weekend and deserves recognition.

Question... GreggV from Geared Up told me about someone rocking Circle Wheelies on a EX500. He thought they were from Brazil. Is this the same group (Street Fire)????
If so....does anyone know if they have a website or e-mail or something???

da Brazilians
These guys did a show in Atlanta which is where those pictures on their website were taken. I met them and these kats were pretty cool. The ramps and Icehouse truck were for the FMX and really didn't leave much room for the Brazilians. Silvinho was drinking beer all afternoon and then went out and completely tore it up. Off the bike burnouts holding only the throttle (he started with the bike idoling laying on the ground and picked it up with both hands by the throttle clip on), highchairs, circle 12's....all on an EX500 on asphalt covered in dirt. The also were on an R1 streetfighter, an F3, and a few others. I have some pictures of the high chair and burnout on the EX and a few other pics of the R1 being 12-ed etc.
I don't have the software here at work to resize these but I have a couple more.

ya know whats funny , i had one of these built for my dirt bike ttr-125L . i tried 2 times before i left for bike week but i crushed my rear wheel cause we made the roll bar to short. i had to borrow my buddies rear wheel to get me by.
i was trying to be the first in the states to do it. looks like some one beat me to it. oh well. i rode theirs. next time you see me the hole point of balance team will have them . lol
see ya on one wheel. and a flip.
