Michelin Pilot Sport replacements

Now that Michelin no longer makes the pilot sport, what's the front tire to have? I like the stickyness/flat profile of the pilot sport, but my front tire's about beat.

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport replacements

Never tried the pilot sports but Ive never felt more comfortable with rolling endo than on the new Pilot Powers. Nothing but stick and roll on those..........and I like the rears too!

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport replacements

I've had the Maxxis Supermaxx, Bridgestone 012's, and now the Michelin Pilot Powers. I love the Pilot Powers, nice and sticky and seem to put up with some abuse too. I ride alot of highway wheelies when I ride to school or whatever, and most fronts seem to wear out fast when setting down around 55-60 mph. I'll prolly get another set when these are toast.

Check out Dan's crf450 SuperMotard, wrapped in Pilot Powers, turning 180 stoppies!!!! PIMPIN

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport replacements

If you know any track racers, just buy old track tyres from them, they use pilot sports and other sticky stuff. they just drive the edges off. Center is fine. Dirt cheap too.
