Stuntbike Videogame

I know this is a repost from a while back, but I was just wondering if anyone's heard about a game "in the works" or if any of you so-called pro's have pitched the idea or been approached to help make one. I need something to help me cope with these rainy days

Haven't heard anything about one since that post from a while back. My brother and I are working on pitching one to a major video game maker. It will be bad-*** if it goes down.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame

Ive been thinking about that idea for along time aswell, and so far the only game even close to being cool like that is motogp1,2,3, and hopefully 4 but you really cant do much but wheelies and stoppies, but you have front and rear brake control and if you play at it long enough you can balance it and run slow wheelies. If they could use the graphics of motogp and the maneuvarability of Tony Hawks games it would be awesome.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame

I think that GTA4 and vice city show that free roam is a MUST!

but things like the rear brake and throttle sontrol also have to be important.

maybe have something like those driving games's steer wheels? like that only with some clip-on's?

i think that'd be awesome, as well as a pedal for your rear brake.

character customization is a MUST, it just wouldn't be cool if you culdan't put your self in there

Also, have a story line, it can't just be arcade style. it should be like GT4, where you start out with next to no money, just enough to buy a bike and maybe some sprockets.

then you gotta get street respect and then do a show or something, and have a "crowd hype" meter or something.

compitions should be were you make the most cash from though....

also, compeititors should be real stunters, i don't wanna be up against some dude named "joesph smith" at some comp, i want a face that i can recognise.

I work for Planet Fitness hahaha. But hell I love video games. My brother is an engineer, and he builds custom XBOXs and **** on the side. So between the two of us (I ride, he doesn't) I think we can put something together pretty solid. He knows people, in the industry. I'm sick and tired of games with cool concepts but shitty game play, so hopefully with my input as a rider the **** will be tight.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame

Shiat, all kinds of stuff. Not the greatest game but it got me through the winter months...I think there is like 15 diff. combos.. Standees, stoppies, sitdowns, surf, I think skitch, etc... You can get it used for like 8 bucks.. I would say its worth that.. just IMO...

Re: Stuntbike Videogame

Overall the XBOX controller is much more suited for a stunting game.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame

the game would be awsome if there was controler just for the game; like handlebars with all the real controls and foot levers. Then the brake levers would need pressure sensors. Also it would be sweet if you could steer fast wheelies and balance slow wheelies and endos realistically by sliding the handlebars from side to side.

Well the XBOX controller has two analog triggers, and two analog sticks. Basically one trigger would be front break for stoppies, the other the rear brake. A would be the throttle, and X would be the clutch. While you are in a wheelie you could use the "D-PAD" to do combos. For example tap UP twice to jump from pegs to a spreader. You could use the left Analog stick to control body positioning.

There of course would be a plot to the game. You are some kid with a minty bike, and you have to learn to wheelie, and make bets with people to earn money to put **** on your bike. Like handbrbake, 12 bar. etc... It would be really sweeet if they did a pro-stunter game. Like Patrick Stephens Pro Stuntrider or something, and you could play as some of the big name guys like Tony D, Emrock, Dan Jackson, Darius etc...
