You could use the left Analog stick to control body positioning.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame
you really need 4 pressure sensitive buttons. One for clutch, one for throttle, one for front brake, and one for rear. I could get along with an "automatic" bike if need be, but having those 4 pressure sensitive main buttons are a must...
People made fun(and still do make fun) of my other past time.... Import cars. If tuners and imports are here to stay, and they can make video games about that, why cant they make some about the fastest growing sportbike scene in the world? Everyone from little kids, to adults, wether they stunt or not, still love to see wheelies... i know i did hwen i was younger, and now that im out there riding, i still enjoy them... I know id buy at least 1 copy of the game..

exactly, the clip-on idea is a great one. Have the ablilty to move it around to steer the bike is prolly the BEST idea i've heard here yet.
pressure sensitive foot pedal, sensitive twist throttle, pressure sensitive clutch lever, pressure sensitive front brake lever.
:YEAH
maybe have the clip-ons detachable, so you could buy an "upgrade kit" from a store and get MX bars???

There of course would be a plot to the game. You are some kid with a minty bike, and you have to learn to wheelie, and make bets with people to earn money to put **** on your bike. Like handbrbake, 12 bar. etc... It would be really sweeet if they did a pro-stunter game. Like Patrick Stephens Pro Stuntrider or something, and you could play as some of the big name guys like Tony D, Emrock, Dan Jackson, Darius etc...

Re: Stuntbike Videogame
There should be a completely open environment where you find and pick your places to ride.
And there would have to be realistic popo chases. That would keep me entertained forever.

Are you kidding me? The variations could be damn near endless. Besides it is a video game, you can stretch reality how you see fit. Just like Tony Hawk does (especially with the grinds)

those steering wheel things are cheap and shitty. no need to make this huge bulbous thing just to play one ****ing game. It wouldn't sell.

You wouldn't really need four. I think mainly just front and rear brake control. You could just blip the throttle with a regular button. And clutch control in a video game would just be simple on and off. Why woudl you need an analog button for the clutch? It's in, its out. that's it mang.

What makes it so good is that you can utilize the entire environment and do endless amounts of crazy, and fresh, combos. In a motorcycle game you'd do a wheelie.. maybe bust out a few combos while doing it.. do an endo.. pop it back up and rock out some slow circles/various other slow stunts. You'll only be able to ride around on the paved areas, making 70% of the level unexplorable (on a big bike at least). Yea, most people (aside from stunters) would find it a boring piece of crap.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame
I think Rockstar or who ever made Tony Hawk should make it.
They seem to know physics rather well.
Other things to make the games sweet.
Chicks jumping on the bike riding the jock. Little kids telling you to wheelie at random to get extra points and tire wear.

Re: Stuntbike Videogame
Longest freeway wheelie contests on the underground.
Also you have to have guns and running around abilities like grandtheft.
Maybe break up a bike theft ring but finding the guys selling bikes with no vins on stuntlife. lmao

Re: Stuntbike Videogame
i brought up this thread not to long ago, and i always play this game in my head at work when im bored lol i lik ethe idea of random ppl telling you to do wheelies and stuff, you should be able to pick up sponsors if you do wheelies for the right people. Enter comps, have to buy tires every few rides, and replace parts when you crash like clip ons, and rear sets. the possibilties are endless. you could still do crazy combos if you stretched it out to where its not realalistic anymore like riding backwords doing wheelies then jump in the air to crossed up while still doing wheelies blah blah blah....
