Re: Is Stock Too Hard For Learning???

I've never rode a 636 but I learned all my slow stuff and circles on a stock 2002 R6.. I'm +14 in the back now and of course it's easier, but you can still learn with stock, you'll just be that much better with it geared...

Re: Is Stock Too Hard For Learning???

dont need that much gearing on a 636 ... that bike is pimp it will practically teach you circles ... you can learn stock on that bike

Re: Is Stock Too Hard For Learning???

to start with yes ... unless you've stunted a geared bike before - learn throttle control before you try to go 16 up ..... just my opinion though ... and your bike will stunt great without gears ... if you want a little help try down 1 up 2 something mild....

Re: Is Stock Too Hard For Learning???

glad I did that search, this thread answered my question. I guess if it can be done on a stock R6 then an F4i is doeable too

I really tried hard today (both ways, left and right). I got a decent quarter turn to the right 3 times out of what must have been 20 tries. I highsided for the 1st time too when I tried to go left and bent the front rim. Hurt like a b1tch! put a fat dent in the tank with my knee too...

anyhoo, I got a big sprocket on backorder and think I'll get it in the next 2 weeks (i'm hoping)... but now I will keep trying until I get the bike geared right. I don't wanna wait 2 weeks if I can make some progress now. Thanks
