Re: Wheelie switch anyone??

i don't know if it would work, but u have to admit it's a good idea. Not as good as the wheelie machine i saw on 2 wheel tuesday, but yet interesting. I would think that if it kill the engine yer gonna get a tank slapper or at least blown seals. idk. id rather not loop than have a laser kill switch. but yet Good idea.

I guess some people can't appreciate some creativity.

I dunno, being creative is one thing I guess, but I'm a little skeptical when it comes to a little laser switch doohickey being sold on ebay thats supposed to keep a ton of people who never wheelied before from busting their asses. I say, just cover yer brake. but that's just me i guess,
Peace

His idea was; "gee, how can I sucker some poor unsuspecting kid to fork over a couple hundred bucks for a bunch of wires and a laser pen I bought at walgreens for 4 dollars?"

If you like his creativity buy one and see how creative it is.

Oh BTW, stupidest fukken idea I ever heard of

Yep. the idea is soo fukken stupid that it works in theory. And with innovation can be a succesful product. I wouldnt be suprised if that isnt patented you will see it on a more major market.

The switch is connected to the spark plugs power, so it cuts the power just enough to stop you flipping, ie no mouse trap.

But i don't think its designed for BP. If you set the switch to kick in too high (70 - 80 degrees) and used too much power im sure the bikes momentum would flip you anyway.

Re: Wheelie switch anyone??

It's not designed for bp riding. It's more of a launch device for racing. It will shut you down as soon as that front tire starts to come up. Then it will pick back up.

Re: Wheelie switch anyone??

it that is the case get duc's new 1098... I don't remember if S or R... the expensive one. supposed to have wheel speed sensors front and rear, so if if the front lifts it cuts power and if the rear lifts it cuts the brakes. supposedly the computer know this by difference front to rear. LOL. absolute race though
