12's- quad vs. gixxer

I can do 12's all day on my blaster, but I want to know if it is comparable to doing them on my gixxer. Thanks for the help!

It's a hole new ball game...

The only comparable thing would be the feeling of going past the balance point. You have to realize that you are going from two wheels to just one. Balance and brake control will probably be two of the biggest differences.

12ving a quad doesn't even count as a trick when you compare it to a bike.

12ing a quad for practice is the next best thing to white bread!!!!! I learned 12's in 2 hrs. on the bike commin off a quad. As long as you got good brake control, then you can get it down if it gets out of control. But i wouldnt worry bout it, you want the easy way out.......SCRAPE SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in the process of learning them and the brake and throttle control seems the hardest part. I've been practicing on the fifty and I'm finally getting the brake control. If you can do them on a banshee I'd say you're ahead of the game.

12'n a quad is sooo easy. i dont even have a quad. rode a rental a couple months ago and learned to 12 highchairs in like 15 min.
also learned to stoppie a a highchair into a front flip in 5 minutes.
but its a step. at least you can practice break control.
