CBR1000RR for stunting...again

Alright well I think its pretty well been determined that although u can stunt any bike...the CBR1000RR wouldnt be the best some say its too much power others say bad ergos (more of a racing posture) But I was wondering for expressway ****, dent in the tank and go at it? seems like it would be good for it. whats ur guys

Re: CBR1000RR for stunting...again

haha not unless you try melting it , you can always buy an aftermarket/or used tank and dent it, plus you'll have the clean one to throw on if you ever get the urge

Re: CBR1000RR for stunting...again

man, I hve been wheeling my new (1 month old) 1000rr, and I have to say, it wheelies pretty nice...but im not ALL THAT impressed with it as far as 1000's go....I mean you could get a worse sportbike to wheelie, but it's not like I thought it would be....

as far a slow stunts go....I just dont know.....There are DEFF better ones out there for that.

Obviously I am the only one finding these posts f***ing rediculous!!!!!!!!!! Take a look at the mags, videos, etc. Late model sportbikes of all kinds make good stunters, some have better characteristics than others but they are all VERY workable! Really, no joke, if you know even a little about modern sportbikes and stunting you should already know to run what you have, and buy whatever the f*ck bike you want! Use your head to smash in yer' plastic tank! F********************************************CK Got brain?

1000rr can be a good stunt bike once you set it up, the one I rode in Australia was a lot lighter than a stock one once we took all the plastics off, pipe, headlight etc, the only fairings I had on it were a race upper and tail, get some gearing a cage, push the bars out a bit and dent in the tank and kill it!!

are you a retard?
seriously.....

It doesnt matter what bike you rock.. if you have talent, you can stunt any and everything ( hence, some bikes are better for their own, but If you can stunt like the" old timers" stock gearing and you were a freeway rebel, you can relate to me... you must be a newbie... ( dont take it personal)

bottome line is, you cant stunt any bike ( some just are easier/better when stunt ready....

To Everyone Else-

Im mainly applying the idea of a CBR1000RR to spreaders, HC's, Hillside Stranglers, etc on the expressway. I figure the extra torque would be good for that stuff (even tho the older liter bikes have no problem either)

Re: CBR1000RR for stunting...again

any liter bike is perfect for highways, i dont' care what it is... they have enough torque to pull it up if it drops a bit... you can scrape a ninja 250, and u can stoppie a scooter..just takes talent, and a somewhat capable bike

Just wondering, how did you go about denting in the plastic tank?
