whats so good about a F4i

i see that alot of people stunt F4is or are looking for a F4i to stunt. what makes them so good for stunting. is it just cause its a honda and there cheaper then 900,929,954 and so on or is there a real reason.

Re: whats so good about a F4i

There's only 2 bikes I would stunt, F2/F3 and F4/F4i. I like honda reliability and personally I'd rather stunt an F3 cause its cheaper, and holds up better in crashes, but at some point you have to go FI if you want to do bar tricks and that's when I'll move up to an F4i.

lighter, lots of engine break, strong motors, parts are cheap, they can take a beating, way less bog then a big liter bike, really comfortable power, i can go on forever...

Re: whats so good about a F4i

I like mine because its smaller than my '01 GSX-R750. To me, its not that much better than my 750, but I like it a little more due to its size. I'm 5'9 155lbs, so its a little easier to throw around. The one thing about it that sucks is the suspension. I did the 929 front end conversion, which in my opinion is a must for long endos. I think alot of people believe that the F4i will unlock some hidden talent that their current bike is hiding, but its not gonna make someone who is just learning into a pro- its like being a mechanic- you can accomplish everything with a set of Craftsman tools, but Snap-on tools are a little more refined and easier to use when you know how to use them.

So you need to be a mechanic to ride an F4i?

No, but it defiantely helps when you ride a Suzuki. Sorry about the lame analogy, I was just trying to say that once you have learned some things, the F4i seems to be a better bike to perfect them on. That's how it worked for me, anyway. I've only ridden mine twice, and I already feel right at home on it.

Re: whats so good about a F4i

i like it because the clip ons are higher then other bikes (kinda a cruiser bike), lol. Frame is real burly and strong, wont brake off subframe tabs, REAL smooth, strong **** subframe, skinny(personially i like it skinny better) and so on..

Re: whats so good about a F4i

hondas are garbage (stop stoning me) everyone blows their f4i and 929/954 motors out here. I'm not sure why because they seem so good everywhere else.

Likes: the clip ons are high, the rider position and peg placement is good, weight balance is good. clutch action is KILLER.

Dislikes: the computer/vaccum controlled idle device is GARRRRRRRBAGE (too much **** to go wrong) the front end is lame. in the same light, the suspension is lame. feels like a touring bike, should have saddle bags (see above...it's not always a bad thing)

With that said would I rather have an f4i or my 636???? I chose an 04 gixxer 750

on a side note...the cheater bike thing: everyone is looking for 600's because you can have less throttle control and make the same tricks....did moving to a 600 help me. F-ck yea it did. I love it....the throttle control is one less thing you have to think about when you're busting out new ****.

Re: whats so good about a F4i

I just got my F4i and I like it so far for regular riding. From what I hear its gonna be a wheelie and stoppie machine. I also like how hondas can take an a$s licking and keep on ticking. I like what I hear about the 636 too, but I guess theyre just not as sturdy. I wanna get a 929/954 too cuz Im told they are just as sturdy as the F4i.
