Glad I was wearing a Helmet

It got ugly yesterday--I was doing 1 foot on passenger seat 1-handers and the bike pivoted around and then lurched forward--I landed on my side, elbow and then my head smacked the ground real hard--broke the vents off my Arai. I'm so glad I was wearing it or else I'd probably be dead now. Gave me a good headache but I jumped right back on and kept at it. I could'nt even get out of bed this morning--I think I pulled every muscle in my neck--I can't wait to ride again....

Re: Glad I was wearing a Helmet

Hey I broke my nose last night doing some ss circles . Seems there is a disadvantage to wearing a mx helmet , cause when the bike stalled the shield hit me right between the eyes and the tip of my nose.

Re: Glad I was wearing a Helmet

is it not normal to wear your helmet when you aren't riding???? I sometimes wear my helmet jacket and gloves out to dinner and a movie, I do take my knee/shin guards off because they bunch my pants up at the knees and that just looks stupid when you're out to eat!!!!

but seriously, the one time I didn't wear my helmet I smacked my head good and was dealing with roadrash on the left side of my face <----hard to hit a a chick when your new nickname is Scab!!

Re: Glad I was wearing a Helmet

helmets are a must for me, some lady came cruising across a parkinglot not caring and i dumped my bike avoiding her and slide under her car slamming my head on her bumper, if not for the helmet i'd be dead for sure. dumbass lady never even got out of her car to see if i was ok, just sat there like a moron till the cop came then blamed it on me, and the cop believed her, *****, but the witnesses got my insurance to blame 95% on her, haha :YEAH

Good, cause you need to! Iv'e seen your videos, and the only time i remember you wearing a helmet is in your new video when you ride that street session at night (i think it was Chicago?) Use your head and wear a helmet, or you might not have a head left to use!
