I wasn't gonna say anything but since we're on the subject, I'm a little offended by Sclevela's avatar...grooming abuse to animals is a touchy subject. If you're gonna show a shaved ***** you should at least get it wet first. Just my 2 pennies.

For them to post sponsor xyz here is part of the reason shuggs started this forum (to help the teams have a place to grow) but if business abc posts here to pull people to there site (when they are basically selling the same products/services as stuntlife) without paying shuggs for an advertising position (lets remember shuggs has asked the teams to pay for there place here so its not wrong to ask the same from those who are using this site for purely financial gain) is not only b.s. its also going to, in the long run, remove us from having a home here at stuntlife. Lets face it shuggs has footed or bill for a while now to help the sport but certain people have not only tried to take advantage of that but also flat out used it as a way to STEAL BUSINESS FROM SHUGGS AND THAT MY FRIENDS WHERE I COME FROM DESERVES A SHUT DOWN!!!! My take on it is, simply put, use this for a place to get ur teams recognized and a place to show ur sponsors that they are getting exposure but, do not use it as a place to take food out of Greg and Nadines mouth because beyond it being wrong and stealking it would be flat out disrespectful to the guy who (lets face it) took a pastime/sport and helped make it a family!

1) No nudity on the website. Pictures of females and bikes will be posted in the CHICK PICS forum.
2) Flaming , bashing, belittleing, ridiculing, etc other members is not allowed. Too much of this has been going on unmoderated and brings a negative vibe onto the site.
3) Avatars will have no nudity, ****, or other questionable material in them. If you dont change them, we will just disable the avatar ability for you.
4) Moderators are here to assist and help where ever they can. They have alot to do and part of thier resonsibility here is not to have people talk back to them and flame them. Try and show some respect for what they are doing here.
5) NO BUSINESS ADVERTISING HERE. If you would like to advertise your product or company here at StuntLife please contact the webmaster and both parties can work out an advertising agreement. This also means links to purchase your products in your signatures as well.
If you need any clairification of these rules. Feel free to reply to this thread. Thanks everyone for understanding!

Shuggs,
No where on the above new rules do I see "NO PROFANITY", what's this that we can't even say *uck, or ****, or Bitch, or Anything. That is bogus!!!
In real life, whether or not sponsors are looking this way or not, PEOPLE CURSE! Alot in my opinion, to say they can't do it here because some corporation/sponsor/visitor/whoever is looking is not right. And I feel you will alienate MANY members/teams as a result. I would seriously re-consider your decision to impose that restriction on us. Half the fun of being on STUNTLIFE is joking around with others, if you take that away then what are we left with....stunters in suits and ties speaking perfect grammer without of hint of negativity in their mind. Oh what if my sponsors find out I swore, or belittled someone.....they might pull the plug on us! Lets be scared.
YOU WILL ALIENATE members if you don't loosen up your rules, and they might just begin to be your main competition without strict rules(new stunt site). Its just too much. And we don't want to fake ourselves just to be sponsored. We are who we are, we should be taken at face value.
I'm not trying to speak for everyone, this is just my humble opinion. I hope this doesn't end up bad for you Shuggs.

In the world of getting corporate sponsorships and money. Nude pictures and sexual content should not be allowed. Revealing pictures are ok. Profanity must be limited and a professional demeanor given off to society.
You must remember that a younger audience is watching.
Pulling the stunt videos from the shelf is a prime example of a corporate action to maintain customers.
Welcome to the world of Pro sports, sponsorship and media.
I believe Shuggs wants his website to promote the sport not degrade it and we are the only ones who can control our actions and make a true impact.

Here is my take....Shugga owns the board, his rules. That is the simple version.
As far as the overall image of the sport...This is where people will begin dividing.
The stunt community has always been a little raw in their attitudes. Come with the territory. You blow off traffic laws, people's opinions, cops, etc...
You dress the way you want, ride what you want, wear your hair like you like it, and what people think has been of little concern.
I think for alot of people, that is the attraction of the "Stunt" community. A free spirit, a sense of adventure and a ton of attitude.
Afterall, it really does take a special breed to do what you guys do. You are laying everything, including your life, on the line for what you love.
And because of that "NEVER QUIT" attitude, the sport is beginning to grow and get exposure. It is becoming a commercial commodity. People are beginning to make a little cash on it, the general public is beginning to see the talent out there, and even big name companies are starting to take notice.
Here comes the paradox, and the conflict...
Iti is this attitude that has caught peoples attention, and it will be this attitude that drives people away, the people with money anyways.
Big companies like Nike, Pepsi, etc knows this attitude draws people, young people, who have a ton of money to spend.
These same companies also know in order for their product to be assosciated with this community, the communtiy has to fit into the "Norm" societal rules. Controversy sells, and kills a company.
I am sure every sport that started NEW and grew into a national sport, such as NASCAR, has gone through the same thing.
Rules had to be put in place across the board to make the sport "Acceptable" for the masses.
The same is happening with stunting. People are trying to make the sport a little more respectable, in order to draw more of the public into it.
Seems a bit of an oxymoron, responsible, publicly respectable stunting
Afterall, the rebel attitude is what drives the stunt community.
Most people, outside of the sport, see stunters as a bunch of street punks with no regard for public safety. They usually are suprised that stunters actually have jobs, families, etc...
At the same time they are griping and complaining about you guys, they can't keep their eyes off of you.
When we held our first event at the airport last year, alot of non-riders showed up to watch it. Amazing enough, one of the biggest groups out their were all on Harleys and they had a blast.
The stuntin' sport is picking up. People not in the stunt community are beginning to use words like 12's and stoppies like they are everyday events!
This is a growing pain for the sport. Shugga you have my support with what you are doing. I believe it adds legitimacy to what you are all out their doing. Some people will disagree, but those will be the ones sitting out looking in, when this thing starts booming.

Ya know, Im just gonna throw my .02 in here. And I hope no one takes offense to anything that I say.
I want to see this sport change and grow to be huge just as well as the next guy, if not more, but I dont see very many people trying to do anything to help change it.
I simply mean that there are several incidents where instead of joining together and try to help each other out, everyone wants to compete for their own piece of the pie simply because they have tunnel vision and can not see the BIG picture. The sport is going to take time to grow, but its not going to go far with people still running from the cops, not wearing gear, and unprofessional crap like that.
I know that a lot of people hate to wear gear just because it restricts some movement and is sometimes a pain to keep taking on and off, but do you really think that a major sponsor is going to look at anyone who still rides illegally on the street, runs from the cops, or goes to an event in front of kids (the potential future riders of the sport) and wears no gear. That doesnt set a very good example at all.
Bike week for example, I posted my thoughts about this before and no one seemed to agree except goose, but I was right. Colbert and the Starboyz had their events scheduled for the same days in daytona. Instead of collaborating and setting the dates on different days, so both events would make money, both events would have a relativlely large crowd, and all the riders would have a place to play all week. Instead, the riders and crowds were split, thus making it almost impossible for anyone to make money and making the sport look like it has no following due to the small crowds.
Shugga drove all the way down to FL to represent stuntlife, yet I bet he made $5 the whole time we were down there and that is because Nick David bought a tube from him for his fifty. HE donates countless FN hours of his time to the site and to give us all a place to hangout, post events on, and share pics, vids, and info. Yet no one was there to support him. I represented with my SL shirt everyday at the starboyz event. And when he asks for a measly $5 a month to help support the site and keep it running from each team that has their own forum, about half of the teams chose to let their forums go. Cmon guys, $60 a year to have your own forum on SL that allows you post whatever, gets your name out to newcomers, and lets you advertise events or whatever, I dont think that is asking too much. I'm sure shugga has spent massive amounts of cash out of pocket to keep things up and running for everyone. WE ALL need to support him.
When Nick David posted a thread about free magazines, he got more replies than he could read with people wanting something free. Yet when he posted a thread about subscriptions, he got maybe 5 replies. How is the sport gonna grow when we dont support each other.
I just think that if we cant all help each other out, and quit always wanting things free, the sport isnt going to go anywhere and we might as well forget about it. well thats about half of what I want to say. looking forward to the replies.

OK, I started feeling guilty about not dropping Shugga any business after David's post, so I thought I would buy a windshield banner for my truck.
RecklessOp has a few appearences this year including one with a rather big crowd, alot of which will be getting their first inro to Stuntin'.....
So I thought I'd slap on a windshield vinyl, give shugga a little cash and promote the site some.....
But....
There ain't no button there to add it to the cart....
You out of 'em? If so, let me know when you get them back in....
Thanks Shugga
