Stolen bike

Re: Stolen bike
I'm gonna look into insurance too because I still owe a lot on my '04 1000.
I got an AR-15 under my bed so if I hear anybody coming thru my garage window they'll be staring down the barrel of my gun.

I'm thinking about getting a disc lock now after this happened to him. Anybody else got similar stories of this happening to them or a friend?
The day I bought my Ninja, several people at the bike shop told me similar stories about dissapearing bikes. It was a 2004 ninja 250...a very popular, very light bike.
To make matters worse, as soon as I pulled up and parked in my appartment complex's motorcycle parking, the maintinence guys started telling me that last year almost every bike parked there got nailed by a drunk comming home. They NEVER found the cars that hit the bikes either. ****ers.
Me and a few other riders threw a goddamn fit over where the bike parking was, and they moved it...so no one's bikes were trashed last year. I traded the ninja in for a Triumph Daytona 955cc bike, and that's at least a little heavier and older, so less of a target.
so far, so good.
