Re: who rocks an r6?

The older carburated R6's can take a damn good beating.

The newere ones are a little weak but still good. The subframe is probably the only thing youll have to worry about on the new ones. Cant beat fuel injection.

Eric Hoenshell started stunting on an R6, and could do some amazing s**t on it. Truly one of the best, most natural riders out there.

Re: who rocks an r6?

if u flip an endo the stay will most definatly break, ive had trouble with the clip ons breaking on a drop. but other than that i love my r6, its pretty stable on the endo, a damper would definatly help though.

Re: who rocks an r6?

I learned 12's on my R6 which was my first bike...the older carberated R6 can also take a beating and mine never flooded on the bar it was the best bike out of the bunch to run on the bar. The fairing stay will break just by coming down hard off a wheelie sometimes but thats it. Just reinforce it.

I'm -1 +7 on mine and it's hella easy bringin it up in 1st & 2nd(I'm strickly lot right now but I've ridin on the highways no problem). Shi7 came up easy stock too...it's all in the technique. As far as stoppies go, they're pretty smooth. I have a 905 cage on my 02 R6 and use to bang the shi7 out of my shins until I bought shin pads, now I'm used to it and they don't get in the way. Hope this helps

Two completely differnt bikes.

*** R6's though. The motors blow fast, foul plugs from bar tricks, fairing stay breaks, they almost take your finger off when they fall off a stand when the rear wheel isnt on correctly and you trying to push the axel through..

R6 is like whatever.

Re: who rocks an r6?

i have a 01 R6 and i like it. ive beat the hell out of it and it just keeps going.
only problem is if u do bar tricks oil gets in the air box and makes your bike chug smoke but there is a way to fix that.
