Re: knee and elbow pads

i went out and bought the smallest ones i could find. mx pads are to big and bulky. try like skate board ones, i got mine from pepboys for like 20 bucks, i guess they were for the new line of pocketbikes they sell now . but they work great well worth it

[I ware the motorcross type the ones with shine gaurds and knee gaurds, they work great up under some lbz pants. no they dont get in the way, better than screwing up you knee, been there, a hole in the knee later and I always were pads now.

Re: knee and elbow pads

Im definitely going to start wearing knee pads under my jeans. Im pretty much protected everywhere else (Icon leather jacket, helmet, and boots) but my knee's could get screwed. Has anyone seen the New Icon armor? That $h!t is bad!! It has flexible joins in the knee and elbo, and look really strong. They are a little pricy ($80) but really worth it!

i use the icon chest/back protector, and some fox elbow pads(the ones that are not all huge....i think theyre the smallest ones they make, kinda like skate stuff, only better)

and i have the icon knee/shin guards......great protection, but too bulky for me.....not that theyre bad, just a little too much for me....... i never wear them, kinda sux i paid 80$ for them to sit at my apt. while i ride. i did the same thing with the icon titanium gloves. bought them when i first started riding, put them on once and never wore them again......its like riding with a baseball glove on........i just rock motorcross gloves. :YEAH

Re: knee and elbow pads

The pads I wear are made by thror. They are a combined knee pad/shin guard. I've crashed with them several times and have walked away with only bruises elsewear. Best $20 I've ever spent, got them at a local honda shop.
