damn the air force must be lax...
my supervisor is the one that taught me to wheelie
me him as well as ~5-6 other air force guys used to wheelie around town last summer.
glad im not navy
as long as you have all the gear on the AF "normally" wont say anything. i figure as long as i dont get arrested or seriously hurt they will leave me alone
after i looped my first bike, i went to the doctor, he asked what happened..... i told him the same thing i told the insurance company " i was tryin to dodge a rabbit and went off the road"

i would galdly take a reduction in rank if i was brought to my CO for this. standing up for what i believe in, tell me if im wrong but we are the ones who put on the uniforms and protect our freedom that even allow us to do this very sport. i think its bullshit that u can even get in trouble for doing it off duty hours. the only thing i can see is if u get busted on post, then there might be a legit reason to *****. but hey what the fukk would i know im just a PFC, we have no vioce in the military

I am also in the military, Air Force. It seems that you have to get a high risk briefing for anything nowadays. And they always want to know how long you've done it and where did you get trained. Hell, I might as well get a high risk briefing for the latrine because the way some of my co-workers drop bombs in there.

Re: If you are Military beware....
my CO tried to make me sell my bike's cause i was giving young sailors advice on picking a bike and one died, so all of the sudden it was my fault, but i got a JAG officer and fought it off now they leave me alone. But all of us who are in the military know how much they want to regulate our lives especially if we dont make our job the only thing that matters, ive been in the navy for 8 years now and riding has made my time harder then it should be. Just stick it out, good for u clutchit for putting it out there though maybe they wont hassle us as much.

First off, (my opinion) work with the damn system. I know we all have pride and want to fight for what is our rights, but ****, unless your commisioned with an important position, you are up against the entire Gov. I'd just make some friends with SP or your OIC, supervisor, etc. Luckily, everyone i work with also rides so i don't get too much ****. But I still try not to draw any attention to myself, i don't want to deal with the BS.
Secondly, a few of you are mentioning being reprimanded for just doing wheelies off base.. in civilain. I don't understand how they could even do that. I mean damn, E4 to E2, thats f'n harsh. How can they interfiere if you didn't even get a ticket from the police? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Re: If you are Military beware....
yeah i was riding with one of my friends when he crashed and died, and i already had a bad rep for riding , so when that happened i got a suspension and a reprimand. i think this year i'll ride as far away from base as possible, keep peoples eyes away from me.

HAHAHAHAHA This is funny ****!! My b/f was doing a wheelie on base and recieved a ****ing Article 15. Was dropped down from Specialist to Private with an obvious reduction in pay and 90 days of extra duty! An article 15?!?!?! For a wheelie?!?! A shitty one at that LOL! What really ****ed him was he is trying for Special Forces Now, and because of this, they told him he doesn't qualify! **** the Army!

EDIT: Whoops this should be SILLYNECK posting. wrong SN
The article looks good to me. Portrayed in a good light etc. Too bad it had adverse effects on you.
Me and Warren James were out riding by camp pendleton in CA. Mp's came and busted us....they seemed to be extra pissed off and very intent on making us pay for riding outside of the base on a wide open road that was closed to vehicle traffic.
