Re: Is 35 to 40 degrees too cold to ride in?

nope--we do it all the time--and actually sweat. Just dont stop for too long or else the sweat turns cold and then it sucks--but thats what engine cases and exhausts are for: heaters.

Totally depends where you're from.
I remember Chicago when it was 40 degrees like, wearing a t-shirt.

40's freezing ***** in Arizona, but still warm enough to ride. If you wear a lid and a windbreaker, you're all good.

Re: Is 35 to 40 degrees too cold to ride in?

I rode daily in that weather befor we had snow this season. Probably had like a months worth damn near of riding in like 35-40*. Then i started riding in like 20* weather and thats gettin kinda shitty because the cold litterally just sux to ride in then and you cant stay out for longer then an hour. But yeah i rode till there was snow on the ground :YEAH

Re: Is 35 to 40 degrees too cold to ride in?

I remember riding one day when it was 22. with the wind chill it was about 7 or so.....as long as you keep moving it's fine. I ride my snowmobile when it's 20 below zero....so I guess as long as you're dressed for it and the roads are clear it's ok.
