That sux...Altematems(sp?) aren't cool!!! My ex girlfriends boyfriend was killed on a motorcycle, she didn't like them before him and she certainly doesn't like them now....she was never cool with my riding but she also respected the fact that I love it so much, I have lost two buddies in the past 5 years in bike accidents and it hasn't changed my love for riding in the least. Now even crazier is that my new girlfriends fiance was killed on a bike!!! She also is not crazy about bikes at all! And until she met me was dead set against them....we discussed this in great detail and it has come to the point where she doesn't mind...well sure she always will worry but basically she told me that she is not gonna' throw away what we have cuz' of her issues. Very cool, You gotta' respect that to boot. I don't throw my riding in her face, nor did I with my ex...I don't toss on stunt videos in her presence, I try not to tell her about my cop chases or any of the chaotic **** I get up to....You gotta' find a balance. Male or female giving someone a choice of them, you or an activity....NOT A GOOD IDEA, there are plenty of fish in the sea...be cool brutha.

Better learn how to be honest from day one and you won't be dealing with these problems down the road.

my girlfriend didn't like the idea of me getting a bike at all...we've been going out for 1 year and 3 months marking today Feb 1'st...had my bike for about a month now. I've given her a few rides and after a ride, I said, how fast do you think we went? she said I dunno...maybe 65? I said...try 96....and she was like wow....
my ponit was, riding on a motorcycle you get so fast so quick you don't realize how fast you are going...cruising at 80 mph is not uncommon in 45 mph speed limits...One day I went out riding with some buddies getting up to about 135 or so for about 20 mins and I told her about it a few days after....we compromised that I wouldn't do over 100 for anymore than 5 seconds...basically like when you accelerate up to like 110-120 really fast and then slow down....so that's basically my story...I just turned 17...I don't need to be going any faster than 100 very much anyways...she worried about me the whole time I was riding like the first week I had my bike...now it's second nature and kiss, goodbye, vrooomm and I'm gone
