difference in bikes...

....is huge. I cant believe how much easier the CBR900rr is to wheelie than my ZX9. On the ZX9 I was JUST getting down standups, juuuuuust about at the BP.

I got on my 900rr YESTERDAY, and I tried a standup and got it up to the balance point without a question and held it there for a while before my wrists got sore. I tried the staggered possition, and SECOND try I was rocking wheelies like that at the BP for as long as I wanted.

Then I tried both feet on the rear pegs. Damn, I dont remember if it was my first or second try, but I got it up to the balance point, and can ride it as long as I want to. I even tried a seat stander wheelie! So easy to pull up in that possition, from second gear or third... Tank wheelies are the **** too! I tried that **** like 3 times, and im already rocking them decently... not at the BP yet but im sure that will be very soon.

All this, and my bike is stock geared. Just a plain old 900rr. Oh ya, I did put motocross handlebars on it.... but I have never really truly stunted before. Just wheelies on the ZX9, weak *** ones at that. This bike is AMAZING!! I feel like im cheating or something its so easy. Im sure within a few more rides, or even just one more maybe, I will be rocking spreaders at the BP and seat stander wheelies.

Wow

:YEAH

I actually feel like a stuntrider now, lol. Instead of just some guy on a bike that rides standups for a ways.

Re: difference in bikes...

Yeah, the 900rr is one of the best balanced out bikes out there. Are you riding '95 cbr? Sometimes I take my boys '98 and have fun (did my first 12 on it ), cuz I sold my 636...

Re: difference in bikes...

Damn... maybe it was my mistake to buy ZX9... I had CBR600F2 and now changed for ZX9 this summer but I havent try any stunts yet because I send it from USA to Poland and when I came back to my country it was already winter...
I thought it would be a lot easier on ZX9 than o oc CBR F2 but if I'll be disapointed I'll sell my ZX9 and buy some 98' or 99' balde...
Now I'm waiting for beter wheather because its a lot of snow in Poland now

Re: difference in bikes...

ZX9 is 10x harder to ride than a 900RR. Deffinately stick with it for stunting.

Re: difference in bikes...

a little off topic but..

The 636 is FRIGGIN THE EASIEST BIKE TO STUNT! Stock is has more torque than my -1+13 F4!! Awsome brakes F&R, friggin dope engine braking.. circle machine! STOCK.

I cant get over this bike, I'm in love! All bikes are stuntable, no doubt, but some are def. easier.
