Check It Out...i Did It..

ok guys.......took the advise of almost everyone......sold the R1 and bought a salvaged '01 F4I with only 3k miles on it. took the plastics off and threw a cage on it.....ordered a 67 tooth sprocket, but that won't be here for 6 weeks!!! (damn sprocket specialists!!) also want to get a dampner and 12 bar (once i learn to rock slow poppa wheelies)...anyway just wanted to post a couple of pics......oh yea, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

lookin good man... definately cancel that order with SS... phil will have your ish there in a few days. I just got my F4I recently, and the cage (905) has saved my wallet a few times already.

Re: Check It Out...i Did It..

put the upper back on no headlight it just doesnt look like a street bike with out it

what would everyone say if i started rocking a crf250? the crowd wouldnt know the diffrence when you wheelie by on a street fighter or i came by on a dirtbike. the fairings make a street bike a street bike

i feel the same way....i like the look of a full fairing bike way better....but the plastics on this bike are garbage (it was salvaged) and for now it's easier to rock it with nothing while i'm learning slow stuff. once i have everything all smooth and on lock then i'll buy a new fairing kit.......

Re: Check It Out...i Did It..

pimp, that's what i did with my 929. i had a new one and i bought a salvaged one for my stunter and i fixed it up.

and don't worry about being streetfighter, it doesn't even look close to a dirtbike. i think anyone would easily be able to see the diff between a dirtbike and a streetbike with no fairings.

for sure.....thers's a big difference between a 250lb dirtbike and a 400lb streetbike.....besides....not too many spectators in a parking lot!!
