GSX-R 750 or 929

Just wondering...

I have a chance to pick up either an 01 GSX-R 750 or an 01 929.
Both the same price and KM's. Which bike would make a better stunt bike? I've been stunting my 04 R6 and have just started to learn how to slow them down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: GSX-R 750 or 929

i got 2 750s and they are the ****. never been on a 929 but f4is are rock solid. i think you are good with either bike, so just ride em and see what bike feels good for you. the 750s are a little bulky though, but i like that.

Re: GSX-R 750 or 929

thanks guys.

I think I'm gonna go with the 929.
I figure either one would work but I already have a 600 so why not try the other end of the spectrum. Plus I like the look of the 929 better.

Re: GSX-R 750 or 929

dude dont get the 929 trust me,
i know a lot of top riders are on them but trust me that a 600 is what you want. ive spend a lot of time stunting a stock 929 and a geared 929 and a stock F4 and F4i and some other 600s and the 600s is where its at. the 929 is a monster, it'll hurt you. i used to ride wheelies in my sleep on my old 600s but the 929 will **** you up if your not careful. ask jay carnes,

I'm in the same boat as you are. A buddy of mine is willing to sell his 01 929, helmet and racing jacket for a very good price. Then again I am still new to the sport I can get a 01 gsxr600 for the same price what he wants for his bike and gear. Since I am still learning, I think the 929 is to much bike for me shyt I don't know I will figure something out.

I agree I know a few pro riders that are parking their 929's and 1000's for 636's, 04, 05 gsxr 6's, and r6's even though their the best on their big bikes there gettin the 6's to take it to the next level with a lighter and more forgiving throttle. You did it right the forst time bro stick with the 6, rock a cage, bar, and gear that 6 up.
