We used the kold cutter screws last year, and they work just fine over the snow on top of the ice, just takes a little practice, less gas and more tug. now 6-12 inch snow banks where a different story.

Re: ICE STUNT Competition? (PHOTO ATTACHED)

if you got hit by a tire with picks in it you would be made into swiss cheese.....screws will work, you just gotta get the right setup....and that takes practice:-)

Re: ICE STUNT Competition? (PHOTO ATTACHED)

Plowed out two really wide & long strips in the rain & slush yesterday to skim ice flat as flat can be... looks great. Now all we need is the freeze that is due to hit for the next week. Pretty freaky plowing on the lake in a thunderstorm with lightning bolts! Yikes!!! Tom.

Re: ICE STUNT Competition? (PHOTO ATTACHED)

I studded mine all out while watching tv, many hours later...ouch thats sharp....

Pat: you need to purchase some studs, Big mike never gave me those studs that he had, and he is gone until July now, i would get the shortest ones possible for your fiddy., the ones that i had 5/8 i think were too big, you can probably use those tires that i have for the fiddy since im not doing mine.

Looks to me like Jim 'The Flyin' Irishman' McDermott should be competing at this event.

I think the old pics are like circa 1973. He was 'the man' round these parts in those days.
