Power-braking 'wheel-to-wheel' on ice would make for great video footage! ...line em' up on less than axle deep ice ...when the first bike burns through thru the ice, it would kick up one hell of big roost! Now we're talkin'!

GREAT NEWS... I just received an e-mail from a nationally based company outside of the motorcycle industry. Apparently, they have checked out StuntLife & expressed interest regarding the potential of Ice Stunt Competitions. Meeting Thursday. Sorry, but this info is extremely confidential and cannot be revealed... If we can connect, the Ice Stunt events will fly!!!
Yep ...and BS will walk! Tom.

I'd like to try the snowmobile spikes this year in the rear along with cold cutters
burnouts---didnt have much luck with on the ice, however most of the riding was on ice that had like an inch of snow on it. although your pretty much doing a burnout everytime you give it heavy gas.
endos---didnt have much luck with
cant really turn on the ice like the motorcross bikes, they can lean all the way over just like on dirt.
everything else is possible. tank, highchair, slow stuff, fast stuff, went up to about 50-60mph on the ice.......

Will need to stick to screws for safety purposes, and even screws can chew thru chit quick. Like anything else, someone will eventually find the hot set-up. Suspension tricks, certain compound/brand tires, studding patterns, etc... What the oval guys have learned over the years has been from trial & error, and then communicated set-ups between each other... and there set-ups have come light years from early days. Some even now strategically add weigh to areas of their bikes for optimum traction. Hell, the tricks that are common place now everyday to you guys... Doug Domokos never dreamed of. It'll come & come quick when things get rolling and guys talk set-up. Tom.

Actually you can set up a cheap *** zamboni type thing like they used to run up at Tomah for the ice races. It was like a drag for a 4 wheeler with big rubber flaps dragging off the back and a 55 gal drum of water trickling on the ice. Didn't work too bad! Has to be F%&#ing cold though or else you just got smooth standing water.
