+1 +1 I could'nt say it any better than this. DO it for the addiction. Life is too short--while everyone bitches about how boring stunts are getting, I'll be out there in a lot practicing them JUST so I can have the skill to rip the stunt off on my command!! Much respect to those who have the skills on lock---we would'nt be doing this stuff if it were'nt for the godfathers of stunting putting these tricks on lock for us to see and try!!

fizzle out or not .... there will still be thousands of us out there almost every night doing what we love ... not to impress anyone but ourselves ... just cuz it feels right

Re: who thinks this sport is going to fizzle out?

i think that theres alot of room for it to grow. stunting only reached my island 2 years ago. i know its been around for along time, but not everyone knows that. i was learning rolling burnouts while guys in the mainland were learning no handed wheelie and circle wheelies. we didnt think it was posible back then. this thing is going world wide. guys in korea are starting to stunt.

most crowds don't care for tricks.. they want blown tires and crashes lol, unless its a fellow rider that knows about the tricks.. those are the things i see that get the crowd going the most..

this is so true!! i been to a few stunt shows here in hawaii, most times the avg. person dosen't really care what the rider is doing during the wheelie. to them a wheelie is a wheelie, no matter if you standing or sitting down. but they sure to get on their feet when someone crashes or almost crashes! sorry..not to hate on the slow stuff, but think about this. most of a stunt shows audience is NON-riders, meaning they don't understand that slow stuff is ALOT harder to do then "high" speed stuff. but like any "stunt" show, people go to see something dangerous, they go to see someone risking their life. since the sport has now turned to slower speed stuff. i believe we will end up losing the stunt "show" scene, because the slow stuff (as cool as if looks) just dosen't have that "dangerous" vibe, that the crowd wants. but as long as we continue to do it for the FUN. the sport itself will never die!!!

but that's just my <img src="https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/images/smilies/objet23.gif">

ok this is just my opinion. before I got a bike I was a nerdy kid that was fat and had no life and sat infront of computer all day playing games(not hating I still <3 my friends). I sold my computer for a bike and I am glad I did, this has helped me in school and life. But stunting is growing just like COMPUTER GAMING.. I went to numerous lans for CounterStrike and Call Of Duty, I come to stunting scene and see shows popping up all over the place. ITS JUST GONNA GROW GUYS LETS MAKE IT GROW FASTER!!!!!

hell yeah i played cs back in the day... i think stuntin will keep growing even if there isnt any new tricks becuase new people will get into the scene.

doing wheelies and stuff is fun as hell even if you cant rock em for a mile, they're addicting..i think the numbers will continue to grow of people that like bustin stunts just cuz its getting more exposure like dvds for sale etc.

Re: who thinks this sport is going to fizzle out?

if everyone would quit putting up gay *** videos on here, and actually put some damn thought into why they stunt, maybe we can see some changes. here's the deal.....

1. throw together a nice little website
2. put a few vids up and some pics
3. don't forget contact info
4. book shows in your area, no less than $1,000 a show.

if the sport takes off, everyone's gonna be in. not hard. if this sport ever goes anywhere, then all the gay *** 16 - 18 yr olds will want to try to get in it. lol

just make some money on the sides, to shows for like Harley shops or something. people like that. buy a PA, make some t-shirts and stickers, and charge $1,000 a day, have about 3 riders. nuff said.

PS - number lists are gay. lol

well there is such a market out there, if the europeans can do it then why the he(( can't we?? It is all going to happen sooner than we think, but the thing is we have to remember to stick together and support each other and quit hatin everything and everyone, if everyone would attend as many events as possible then the promoters will see what kind of auidence we can get together and that there are enough people that wanna watch what we do!!!!!

Re: who thinks this sport is going to fizzle out?

Ill have to admit, part of the reason why i like stuntin is because no one else is doing it. Would you really want it to be mainstream? I hate to say it but if evereone was doing it, no one would think it was cool or badass anymore. And as far as progression in this sport goes. Shows is one thing, but this sport is predominatally illegal, no one really is gonna sponser and market illegal activites. As far as new tricks goes. Ive thought of a few that have been done either rarely, or havent yet but for the most part, most of the tricks that can be done are.

Then snowboarding doesn't impresse poeple? nor skateboarding? or sany other extreme sport? what about sky diving?

I think poeple will still be impressed, and Are you only stuntin to impress poeple? I bet not, you love them wheelies don't ya , of course you do. I'm willing to bet that if all of the world just magically stoped beign impressed with stuntin, you'd still do it. It's a love affair....that your girl DOES know about

yeah, ima have to disagree wit ya. hate to judge, but you're prolly one of those kinda peeps that are always wanting to be different, and as soon as it hits big you change. lol

why like something just because not a lot of people do it? enjoy doing things you enjoy doing, not because of others but for yourself man. lol

Re: who thinks this sport is going to fizzle out?

on top of that, i don't care if it's mainstream. we're still gonna do our little 50 - 500 crowd stunt shows around the area, and still make some money on the side.

plus, we're still gonna stunt regardless. so what does it matter? lol

As far as mainstream goes.......yes I would like to see it go mainstream, mainstream=money, right now we are mostly all broke and that could help us make money, ya heard........and if it went mainstream, yes people would want to see and watch us, mainstream=more spectators and more organized events!!!! and if you don't want to do it mainstream then keep it to the parking lots and your crew, no offense!!! Most people do it cause they like to and it is ok that people want to show off and have an audience, hells yea get paid to do what they love, I'd have to say right on to that thought!!!
