first gear

Man, first gear is awsome. I always read all of your advice, to stick with first gear wheelies... but I never paid attention. I was trying to learn BP in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Well tonight, I went out riding, and I tried first gear. Its awsome! I brought it right up to bp, and its not even scary! Its like, you can go past and you dont even have to worry because engine brake will bring you right back! Its sickness... all my riding buddies are jealous now! I bring it up and I cant see anything in front on me. Nothing. One guy told me that I was almost scraping the tail on the ground!

Thanks for all the advice everyone. SL rules! :YEAH

The ZX9 is a stable bike. Ive never had problems with front end wobble. Never. I mean, I could probably set the wheel down crooked and wouldnt have a problem. I have no dampener either.

Second, its such a comfortable bike! I rode that bike all the way from Florida to Nevada in 3 days. I came home in 3 days after my trip was done too. I mean, I was sore, but it took a long time to get sore, and it was totally bearable.

The power isnt as insane as the new bike, but very good IMO. Definitly good enough to stuntride. Looks AWSOME too. I love how it looks, blue rims and ****... :YEAH

But ya, balance point is a little wobbly IMO. Narrower balance point. Well, narrower than the CBR900, thats for sure. I picked one of those up, and it is totally easy to wheelie. Once you get the hang of the ZX9 though, I think its totally stuntable. The subframe is welded onto the frame though, so if you mess that up its got to be more of a problem. And the bike is heavier. Im a big guy, and a larger bike fits me better. Still great with turns and twisties.

Im selling it soon, if anyone is interested..... hardly a scratch on the bike, never laid over.

Just wanna let everyone know that I went out yesterday and practiced clutching in first gear and learned how to ride it out til the the shifter light comes on, still trying to get to BP, thanks for all the useful advice guys. Other stunts the Im capable of are the christs and working on skitching.
