Re: This year or wait for Spring

I try to ride every chance I get.. I twisted my knee sideways about a month ago.. I can barely walk but I still ride. Its just hard to do any real work on anything because if I put any weight on it it goes out. Maybe I should see a doctor.

Canada here... still ridin.. depends heavily on the day though.. so far it's been like once or twice a week.. which is kinda nice because usually it's snowin! It's 4am here I just got back from a late nite ride.. tires don't seem to stay warm enuff so I'm a little iffy on really playing around.

Re: This year or wait for Spring

we will show you what we are doing for fun in december in a few days...zannmann should have a new clip up.

if there is snow on the ground, and ice on the lakes...we are ice racing. if the parking lots are clear of sand and salt, then we are hitting them up....freezing our ***** off, but still riding nonetheless.

winter time is the time for a lot of mental riding....only really ride to keep up on the skills-so like once a month is what we need up here and we are good to go.

i love new england even if i don't have a sled right now!

Re: This year or wait for Spring

Not parked yet, I still ride every day i can but like others have stated it relies heavily on the day. Today is suppose to get to like 35* so im goin out riding here soon, this weekend were suppose to hit the 50's so ill definatly be out then as well.

Roads are gettin kinda scarey, theres no ice or snow but a few days ago we had rain which made the roads icey so they laid down sand/salt mix so now theres that **** all over the roads that i gotta watch for, hate sand

Im waiting for it to snow so i can roll my bike out into the street, Pop my dunlop 208 and put her away for the winter haha.

lets all move to florida, pool our money togethr and buy an apartment complex, the whole thing, but you cant park cars in the parking lot, cars go in the grass.
Sounds like an idea to me.

PARKED. It snowed pretty good here for 2 days, and now its green again. My motor has been out for a while anyways since I blew it up. I've got a new(used) one now, brand new clutch & tranny in it ready to go. 12 bar is on, and my cage is being made next month. I'm painting my stuff now, and will finish over my week off @ christmas.

I'm going to stuntwars and staying for a week to ride and hang out in the warm weather. :YEAH

Still riding when the roads are dry. Weather in the 40's makes it comfortable to wear all your gear. It's not that bad.

Re: This year or wait for Spring

it was 28* outside and i just got back from riding, got a couple of nice 2nd gear standups takin care of, but im worried this will be the last time ill be out doin wheelies, traction was a bitch.

Not to mention it was SNOWING when i left hahaha, people were lookin at me like im a idiot, but i was still able to rock some long *** 1st gear wheelies. Was kinda scared goin through turns because of the gravel/wet icey mix on the ground so i kept that to a low speed, otherwise wasnt half bad.

Dont you hate when your windscreen fogs up more and more every breath you take, yet your face is to cold to leave it cracked open. Cold weather definatly sux to ride in, but isnt bad if you dress warm.
