Today was my Day!
Welp, just got home from looping my first wheelie
1st gear standup, pulled it up from a dead stop, rode to about only 25 MPH and went back, heard the pipe scrape then it was all over from there haha, i was like aw god dammit, got up looked to see the mirror smashed and the tail section just split open kinda was like oh well, then noticed BIKE BLOOD! yaaayyy...... POS carbon fiber frame sliders.... seriously hate these things lol. i mean they coulda atleast not have bent to **** and broke my side faring. Anyways, picked up the bike and the left clipon is turned straight into the tank, dented that alittle bit. Called up my buddy with a truck and loaded her up.
Thus ends my riding season
To cold to even bother rushing to fix **** up and ride again so now i got somethin to do over winter lol. Got alittle rash on my right knee thats about all no biggie.
So what has Jason learned. USE THE REAR BREAK, i knew i was covering it for a reason. Also i know that i cant go that far back anymore lol. Pipe shouldnt catch anymore since thats ground straight down with the tail light, which i may add didnt break but is just scratched hah.
Sorry its so long, its just my first loop and i knew it was comming pretty soon i just had a feeling lol.

please post the part about the sliders bending in the cage thread cuz most people think sliders are a good buy, when i say they are garbage.

Well, it sucks that you looped, but it's good your okay and the bike isn't in too bad of condition. I wouldn't trust carbon fiber sliders..... if you decide to use sliders again, I'd go with some steel ones. If you really wanna keep the bike together, use a cage, but that rules out the twistes.....
anywho, glad to hear your ok.

I bought the bike with these POS ones on there, its not a cage with sliders, its just normal little stubby frame sliders. i wanna buy an MXD cage, you guys just gotta build one for us F2/F3 guys

Re: Today was my Day!
you got a cage? you'll scrape your pipe first by the looks of how big it is in pics. and that will throw you off the bike, atleast thats what happened to me, pipe then tail then my *** on the ground.

Re: Today was my Day!
steel or aluminum sliders are garbage, they dig into the ground not slide making the bike jump over on its tank,id say the plastic type are the best, they slide and grind down not just dig into the ground

a cage for us F2/F3 guys would be awesome! they do have the plastic sliders right?
I dont have any footage of the flip, i was all by myself, but Squidmark happend to be right over at the college (was about 400 yrs away) and he came over and took some pics with his cell phone so hopefully he can hook it up with those. Im sure there not goin to be to happy about the oil mess left (woops)

Re: Today was my Day!
yeah, i havent had a time to check the pic's out yet, but i'll get them up here soon. I really want to know about the mxd cages, they look tight. The one thing I hate about my 905 is that I havent taken a hard corner since it went on. And not being able to huck yourself into every available on-ramp gets old fast.
