Anyone have this prob?

So i Started 12'n my bike today (sort of) but 90% of the time i will bring the bike up and it hits my chest before its at 12 oclock so i try and lean back more and i end up sitting down. I dont know if its a reflex or what. Does this happen to any of you? What do you guys do?

Re: Anyone have this prob?

ha, I had the same thing for a while trying to learn BP, whenever I brought it up really high I would "chicken out" and sit down. I think it was kind of a "hiding" thing, like I'm scared cause I'm getting too high and I'm going to hide behind the bike now kind of thing.
I stopped doing that by clutching it up with my body right where I wanted it to be for the wheelie. Like, whatever position I would be in for riding out a wheelie was the position I would be in when I clutched it up, then I'd make myself just stay that way and keep my knees and elbows locked when it was coming up and then I was all set.
