Re: going street fighter
i use a UFO dual headlight setup. it's only 54$ so it's half of the acerbis cost and works great.
about the brake resevour. you can get the cbr 600 front master cylinder that has the resevour attached to it, that helps out a bunch because it's all in one and doesn't stand up very tall.

"will that res work/fit on my bike?"
it depends on the master cylinder piston size. If honda 600 has two active pistons in calibers, and your kawa has four, then the honda master is not moving enough fluids. then braking the lever will probably hit the bar before the brake force is enough..
But many bikes have those integrated fluid reservoir master cylinders. Find one with similar caliber setup(how many pistons in calibers), then it should work.
One possibility is just to use small piece of tube. The reservoir doesn't need to be that big, so small piece of tube will work ok too.

honda has the BEST master cylinder design of any bike on the market. there is only 1 piston, because master cylinders only have 1 piston, not 4 or 2 or whatever....1 piston, pushes the fluid.
if memory recalls it is a 5/8" piston on the f4i's which will be a lot more braking power than the kawi master cylinder. just unbolt your line, bolt the honda one right up.
if someone wants to argue they can call me at Thompson's honda and i'll prove them wrong. i've done many master cylinder swaps.

binder: I know that master cylinder has only one piston. when I'm talking about two active pistons in caliber(then I mean brake caliber, those can have 1 or two or four or six pistons).

Re: going street fighter
oh brake calipers....well that still won't really matter too much when you change master cylinder.
you can pick up a 900rr master cylinder for about 30$ or so on ebay. 93-94 is 1/2" piston (what i use), 95-99 is 5/8" piston, and the 929's have a 3/4" piston. the bigger hte piston the more the braking power. i use 1/2" and it will lock up my rear tire just fine so i don't see the need to go bigger, but i know a lot of guys do.
