After looping my 929 for the first time doing 12's and landing on my knees/hip, I've learned to just let go of the bike and step off it when you KNOW the bikes going down.
A friend of mine held onto his handle bars while his bike was scraping and it drug him around the lot yesterday--he held on until it fell over, then hit the revlimiter--we were laughing our asses off!!

a couple weeks later all teh roadrash and the foot heald up, and it didn't cost me anything.
had the bike been totaled i'd have been out the $4000 i paid for it
