I've heard it's good and that it sux. Grip tape or surf board grip, either way, if gas gets on adhesive then it will eat it away regardless.

i have skateboard grip tape on my tank and I spill gas on it all the time

seems to work just fine though

I hate any grippy **** on the tank....restricts me from sliding on and off. Some guys won't ride without it - I hate it!!!!

Ive been using spray on undercoating. My gas cap leaks tho, and the gas washes that **** off so I gotta try something else, more resistant.

get one of those vortex gas caps.....I have one it doesn't leak at all.

I have the vortex cap, and the rubber gasket. The tank isnt in the best condition, so it still leaks.
