what do you consider to be cold weather?
I always wear my leather jacket when it's below 50 just because it is nice cutting out the wind. Sometimes I wear it when its between 50 and 70 and hardly ever if it's above 70 but I plan to start wearing it more this summer than I did in the past years.

as for what I consider Cold weather on the bike, 40 or below. If it's below 40 I don't ride very much at all.

by the way while we are on the topic of wrecking without leathers and the damage I'll throw mine out there. I was going about 60 MPH in September when a deer jumped out of nowhere and I smoked it as soon as I grabbed the brakes. I had on those real lightweight abercrombie cargo pants, and they had a couple rips in them but thats it. And no jacket, just a tshirt and an Abercrombie hoodie. That just had a couple rips on it and I had a fair amount of road rash on my back but none on my arms or anything.

If I hadn't had my helmet on though, I'm not positive I would be here. I know if I was I would had some crazy road rash on my face. I am 100% sure if the girl that was with me wasn't wearing hers she wouldn't be alive. Her helmet was totally ****ed and she was still knocked out cold for a couple minutes. I didn't used to wear a helmet much when I was in Illinois but I had it on here because Missouri has a helmet law. I'll definetly be wearing my helmet anytime I'm outside of town at night from now on.
