voltage regulator

voltage regulator

Hey wheres everyone gettin these things at? I saw a bunch on ebay real cheap and some not so cheap. Will any old regulator work, I mean the concept is the same, right: voltage in/constant voltage out??



*edit Oops should done a search.....looks like rickyexpensivestator has them but any regulator should still work, right?

any regulator should work if wired correctly. try something from another bike

There is a universal one that you can order from your local bike shop for like $14. I put one on my bike when I rewired the stator. You can also get a rectifier from radio shack for $4.

go to your local dealer or look in dennis kirk for the moose regulator. I got mine for $18 at my dealer it works great

The piece that goes inside your motor is 140.00 dealer cost. I think
