XR70 Forks on a fiddy....
OK so I have an XR70 I dont want... and I have a XR50 with REALLY wobbly forks...
Why do i want to change them over? Do I really want to?
And I know it has been posted before... but Im still a little lost because others get off on a tangent about other options...
If I unbolt the forks.. and unbolt the swingarm from the 70... what EXACTLY do I need to do to put them on my fiddy?
I hear that some guys have shortened the fork tubes on the 70 forks and then cut the springs...
ANYONE??
THANKS!

So I would only need a triple clamp?

They'll bolt up. I have them on mine. Stock clamps will hit the tank at full lock, and you will need to grind the brake stay down a bit to make it fit. Also need to fab up a cable holder. Swingarm and shock will fit also. Need to weld a brake stay on it and your done. It's all easy enough to do once you start tearing into it. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Any questions just hit me up.
