whellies on fiddys observe and teach please

i just bout a new fiddy 05 crf but its hard to keep the wheelie goin .

the steps i take is firs its in nutural then i give it gas and pummp up to firs it picks up but i cant keep it, it feels like the troghttel is week.Same steps r taken from first to second. i could hold it a bit longer but still not satysfied . and from 2nd to 3rd there is no hope for me. theres no easy steps to popping whellis on a fiddy ? any suggestions. on what gadgets to put on. does suspension really help? what abuot tb air filter FMF pipe should i get that. keep in mind all i want is to practice my trotel control on whellies and stand ups (so i gotta buy the pegs) plus indos, on the street im not a dirt man . mabey one day but i got no truck and 3 bikes. . oh yea i ate **** alredy nicely .

so what should i put in my 50. i would appriciate some knowledge handed down.

"this site rules" every man dies but not every man really lives. R.I.P to our brothers who fallen and couldnt get up

Well to start out, you need to just practice.

Cover the rear brake with your foot. Ride the brake a little, while slowly moving in first gear, then gas it, and give it a tug on the bars, when it comes up to high, hit the brake and bring it back down, just keep doing that, and you'll find the balance point. Always cover the brake, and use it.

Street tires, and a bar kit help. A rear spring also helps after you get the wheelies down. It keeps it more stable; the rearend doesnt sag and bounce around.

You'll get it, read some topics here about it, its been covered a million and 1 times. Use the search and im sure you'll find all the answers you are looking for.

Again, practice is about the best thing you can do.

Good luck :YEAH

i didnt feel like counting, but im going to guess you spelled every 3rd word wrong.

if you just bought the bike, you wont be pro yet. just go out whenever you have a chance and practice. might i suggest, when youre not practicing your wheelies, you practice your english/typing skills?

Basicly i just bout a 05 fiddy a wile ago *wicked price* but from what i have found, and how im doing it is just put it in secound gear, roll on the gas and give it a yank, it should come up *also make sure you rsitting almost on the rear fender* cover the brake, just incase, iv already bailed of the back of mine, hung on to the bars and draged my self, hah skined my knees, elbows, and Stomic, great fun!. iv got street wheels, a bar kit and suspension on order, to help. but you defently dont need a pipe or an overbore kit. though some times maby alittle more hp could help if your controling your wheelie with the gas.

i run first, pull up on the shift lever, hold the lever up, give it some gas and a tug on the bars, and drop the shift lever. it's basically just like clutching it up. i'm gonna end up destroying my transmission that way, but my clutch is slipping, so i have a hard time just yanking it up. i need to get off my butt and get a new clutch setup.

other than that, like everyone else has said, practice practice practice. every time i ride i come home a lil better than i was before.
