Rider Down
A buddy of mine that i grew up with was in a bike accident about 3 weeks ago where he hit a deer at about 80 on his brand new 1000RR totalling the bike and giving him a pile of road rash b/c he was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers. one of his sneakers came off and his heel bone was showing after the pavement ground his flesh away. He is now doing a bit better and can now walk without crutches again. I tell you that to tell you this. His father was in an accident on Sunday night. His more serious than his sons. Here is the article. He is still in intensive care from massive head trauma. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers and also remember to wear a helmet.
