i'm about to start lookin for a new(used) bike and want an srad b/c the are easy to find and affordable. i was just wonderin what the advantages/disadvantages of a 750 vs. a 600. this will be my second bike. i've been riding a bandit 400 for a while and am ready to step up. mainly is the 750 worth tryin to get or will the 600 almost just as good?

 

if ur getting a 04 just get the 600 cuz a the step up from a 400-750 mite be to much power so stick with the 600

 

I would definitly start out with a 600 then when you are more comfortable...jump up to a 750 or even a 1000...

 

go with the 750 just respect the power

 

I think these kids don't remember what an SRAD is. Go with the 750, I've owned and ridden the **** out of both. Stay away from 98 600's.

 

I would avoid a 98 as well but the new fuel injected 600's have plenty of power to go around

 

yeah the 2004 SRAD gixxer 6 is a nice bike huh??

 

GXSR's are bad *** bikes but I still favor Honda's just because i ride one.

 

if you go with a srad, go with a 600 unless you wanna' stunt it... then go with the 750.... i've had 13 gixxers since 1986 and still love the srad's... if you wanna' stunt one i have some plastics for sale if you want them... pm me and i'll hook ya' up...

 

I think the 750 srad went to fuel inj in 98 the 600 didn't until the 01(NOT SRAD) body! I'd go 750, respect it, it'll have a little more bottom end juice, but any gixxer i have ever ridden has demanded respect.
