im getting a +5 rear sprocket and a new chain
im gona try it for a while and then get a -2
how many links should i take off.....is it possible to take links off never done it before

I would recommend going down 1 in the front first. It is cheaper and easier. The change of 1 in front is equivelent to 3 to 4 on the rear. ~So every 1 down you go it has the same effect of going up 4 in the rear~

With -2+5. You should be able to use stock or close to stock chain. Stock chain for my bike is 108 links, -1+2 worked with that length. Now I have -1+5 and the can length is 110 links now.
You draw it up homie... With -2+5, you might be able to get away with stock length chain. depending on the size of your stock chain. I have a 97 GSXR, so it could be different.
