Helicopter Turbine Jet engine motorcycle..Want it?
Obviusly you all have yet to hear about my next acquisition... a bike that can go 0-227mph in 9 seconds!!! THE JET BIKE >>> This bike is made with a helicopter turbine engine that winds up to 60,000 RPM and cranks out a temperature of about 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit from the exhaust pipe. With 450 ft/lbs of torque, ya best take your teeth out 'cause you might swallow them when you crack the throttle

I believe it is a turbine for marine applications. The guys that build it put them in boats. Jay said he was sitting in traffic and the exhaust was so hot it melted a bumper on the car naxt to him

It's an old engine outta the huey's I believe........basically they're not legal for flight use anymore, but they still have tons of life in them for general(or not) purpose. The guy that built the bike has retro-fitted this engine into a truck and put two of them into a cigarette boat also(160mph on the water I think). It doesn't go very far on a tank of gas though

(found this on it while searching for more pics)
This engine was designed to lift a 10,000-pound Bell Ranger helicopter. Now it's in a 460-pound bike. It only makes about 10 hp at idle and takeoff is no special thrill. The bike really pulls hard from about 50 or 60 mph, because turbines have to spool up. Then it's like the hand of God pushing you in the back. When you leave the line you've got maybe 40 hp. You go 10 more feet and you've got 70 hp. Then you've got 100, then 150, then as much as you dare. This thing will do a quarter-mile in 9 seconds.
