Attn: Stunters, Wanna-be's, and Creative Types
Hey gang. I've been putting together stunt and wheelie sprocket set. They come in three flavors- Stage I, Stage II, and Pro. The Stage kits retain your existing chain! And the Pro kit is all custom, requires the addition of a custom length chain, and can also be done in a 520 conversion. Each kit is designed to produce a lower final drive ratio than stock. That means harder acceleration and more power. The reason they come in different stages is because the lower you go, the more terminal top speed you can loose. And not everyone wants to top out at 70-80mph. The lighter weight components actually increase hp and torque as well. Specifically as this applies for stunting- the lower ratio gets the rpm higher per a given speed so you can get the motor into the powerband without having to be accelerating hard or be going 80. (Basically, your reversing the effects and design of a high revving engine that is designs to propel a modern sport bike at very high speeds- but still using the hp output at lower speeds). Make sense? (And to those of you who use this trick already, don't want others to know, and will be upset at me for letting the secret out- so be it. Most of us are trying to grow the sport- and this is how its done--> Providing products and knowledge to everyone who desires it.)
I also have a patent pending on the intelectual concept, method, and designs for the cutting of goemetric shapes in my rear sprockets instead of plain holes. For instance Dollar Signs, Stars, a Honda 'wing', up-on-1 silhouette, etc. I'm also doing some custom for our riders and will be offering them custom with shapes, logos, chrome, gold plated, color anodized, etc. to everyone.

Pro Stunters- I'm looking for a few more top riders to help me promote what I'm doing (with this and other stunt specific products) on a national level. Please let me know if you fit this category and if your interested. If your not well known but up-and-coming and have some competition results to prove it- cool - lets hear from ya.
Wanna-be Stunters (and I use that term with total respect)- If you have any questions about all this, let me know and I'll help you as much as I can.
Creative Types- I looking for professional help in coming up with a very good, marketable name and logo for this product line. And although I have decided to start this product in the stunt world- it will have to be something that is universally accepted in the entire powersports industry. One name that was thrown at me that I like the best so far anyway is 'Thrust', or Thrust Sprockets'. Hell- if anyone has an idea- lets here em. The last thing I want to do is come up with something that most people think is corny. (yeah, yeah, I know "come up with it myself....blah blah blah" I understand that- However- its not a product for me, per say, its one for you!)

I have seen your auctions on ebay, I was going to email you because you never say what the gear size is- but I soon noticed I could see the number 48 in the pic (too small for me). I have no idea for a name- thrust sprockets sounds good but are you making them yourself right now or just selling someone elses? If you make them yourself it's probably a good idea because most companies don't make any bigger than 46 teeth and most stunters want well over 50. Hell if you have a set that's 2 down and around 13 up for a 96-99 900rr I'll take it....good luck

I've go twhat you need too. I can go to 64 on the rear with in stock blanks for any bike. I'm having a 20+year sprocket manufacturer make them for me at the moment. I'm also talking with people to make them from raw materials myself..
In regards to competing with the Stuntlife store- Thanks for the heads-up- I don't want this post to be advertising or competing. Just information gathering. But I checked it out and the store doesn't have anything similar, and so I've also emailed Shugga a couple of times, left emails for who used to handle advertising on the site, and posted the question about how to advertise and or become a site sponsor on this board.

Also, I don't mention the size of the sprockets because that is something that I've spent a lot of time and money trying and testing- so that's part of what your buying. And the picture on my eBay auction is just a generic one. I should probably tuen the sprocket around to keep from confusing anyone with the 48 example shown. You tell me what bike and what you want ot keep your top speed at or how you most use the bike (Stunt, Highway, Mix, etc.) and I'll hook you up.

so people have to tell u what they want to do, and u set them up with sprockets? is this correct? it sounds like a good idea and should work out well for u....BUT
i bet for my preference and what i want to do, i know my sprockets chain etc, better than u, considering its all preference whe it comes to swithcing sprockets etc....
so if rudy wants what he said, he cant order that? he has to tell u what he wants to b able to do, and u give him wha tu feel is correct?

i would rather know what i was buying than have you make the decision for me...if i want a 50tooth in the rear...then thats what i want, not you tellin me i should have a 52...just a thought...
And posting things on ebay with a picture that isnt the real item is a violation and a scam as far as i am concerned, i want to see what i am buying

Thanks for the question. Short answer- I can work with you any way you want.
Long- I have two standard setups that work with a stock chain length. One limits top speed more but gives a lower ratio than the other. These are set sizes and mainly for the cost savings of not having to go to a longer chain. And so you are limited in gear ratio choices. And that is where I can suggest one or another based on your preference and input to me. And the cost of a set is less than if you go to Vortex or Sprocket Specialists and buy them separately.
And one of these options are going to work for 95% of everyone because I still try to ask what someone is needing and can adjust these 'standard' set a little if needed.
I totally agree with you that you know your bike and your riding style better than anyone. And if you've been adjusting gearing yourself then you obviously know exactly what you want. And yes, I'm more than happy to help you with exactly what you need.
In responce to Rudy's question- maybe I didn't write my answer very clearly and you misunderstood it. I was trying to answer it in a general way vs. being specific to him alone.
I had sent Rudy a PM letting him know the price of exactly what he wanted.

In regards to the eBay thing- Do you realize how many different sprocket combinations exist for every brand of every bike in every size? My auction clearly reads in the first paragraph that your actual sprocket may look slightly different than the one pictured. I assumed that anyone that new what a sprocket was, and could see a picture of an example, wouldn't have a problem with knowing that the bolt hole pattern or the number of teeth going around that shiny silver thing would be different on theirs. Maybe I should rethink how I do the auction pictures and spend the next year taking pictures of every combination available so that I'm not accused of scamming. Absolutely. Its no different than drilling them out to make them extra lite. How far, or how big the design can be, is determined on what size the sprocket it is and what the application is. Some bike have smaller hubs which allow for more room to work with. So, could we do something like a complete thin spiderweb- No. But anything within reason- Yes.

If thats for your F4i, cost-wise your looking at about $90 for regular sprockets. Your bike is quote a bit more than most because of the special front it requires(ave.= $72-82 in those sizes). The custom ones I'm not ready to tale orders on yet until we get caught up and stocked with making the standard shapes. But, in consideration for sponsorship, email or mail me your credentials and/or sponsorship resume to look over. (snailmail= 226 E. Main St. Youngsville, PA 16371)
