He had the potential and drive to become a competitive stunt rider...I'm sorry it had to end for him as it did..

I heard about it when I was watching the special on the news tonight....right after they get done bashing all of us they stated that a young rider had died in St Pete but gave no specifics other than witnesses said he was speeding and was seen doing a wheelie soon before the accident....RIP

In todays St.Petersburg times..
ST PETE BEACH MAN DIES IN MOTORCYCLE, TRUCK COLLISION..
A 19 year old man was killed wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a 1981 Ford pickup truck on Pasadena Ave S, police said.
Barry J. Weiler Jr., was pronounced dead shortly after the 3:30 accident.According to officers 76 year old Hobart Simmons was driving his pickup south on Pasadena Ave S. when he tried to turn left onto Bougainvilla Ave S.
The truck collided with the 2003 Honda motorcycle, northbound on Pasadena Ave S
Witnesses told police that Weiler was driving fast and either in the process of doing a "wheelie" or had just completed one.
Simmons was not injured.

sounds like what happened to my friend........ he was doing a wheelie down the street when this 80 year old lady made a left turn in front of him (mind you there was 3 other bikes right behind him), so he put it down and as soon as she saw him she stopped in the middle of the intersection and he didn't have time to react and ended up running into her!
They tried to blame it on the way he was riding, but do you think it could have anything to do with the age of the drivers?
