Hey guys and girls, I was interested in what people think or know about and engine swap in a F4. Does anyone know if a 900RR engine would fit into an F4? If so what do you think about this?

 

i dont know about that you can give a shot but it needs all the harnesses i would assume.

 

Anymotor will go into anything if you try hard enough!! Seriously, a guy back home had a CBR600/900. He spent lots on it, did an awesome job, and left the bike looking totally stock. It was a weapon, and had some 1ltr bike riders scratching their heads after they'd been blown off by a CBR 6. If you know of anyone that has old copies of Streetfighters magazine, they've run lots of articles on 900's in 600's, even 900's in a 400 frame!!!

 

Ok thanks alot I will ask around see if any1 has some streetfrighter mag. Anything will fit into anything with some work, that is true...i was sort of hopeing for a pretty close to direct fit...if thats ever possible.

 

ive seen the second gen 900 motor (919) in an F2 frame. Had to have the motormounts hacked and re-welded, probably the same case for the F4

 

the 93-95 900cc motors bolt right into the f3 frames, you need the coils as well
