Exclamation I hate safety *****...

I posted this on another site... I'm gettin into it with some guys on the R1 forum... bunch of ****. But can yall feel me on this one?

Oh man. I really hate these "safety *****". You know who I'm talking about. The ones that bag on people because they don't wear full leathers. The ones that say stunters are stupid. The ones that buy fast cars or fast bikes and then never drive them like they were designed. On top of that, they bag on people who do enjoy taking these machines to their limits. They talk of all this "what if you crash?" or "what if you hit someone?" B.S.
I was on the R1 Forum, and they are all calling me stupid. I think it's funny. These guys all claim they have R1's and then they say they ride so safe. So, either they are lying, or they are pussies. Damn, who are they to judge me or anyone else for how we ride? If one of my friends decides to not wear his safety gear(helmet, gloves, etc.) I don't bag on him for it, I just tell him to be careful. Seems like these safety ***** have had a bad experience and are trying to force this experience on other people. I understand the concern, deep down its probably a genuine concern for a fellows well being. But get off of the holier than thou attitude... To me, life is too damn short not to enjoy it. I enjoy stunting, riding fast, breakin the law... deal with it, beeyatch.

I think you sould always wear your gear while riding, especially stuntin. But we are all adults and capable of making a decision and I'm not going to force my decisions on anyone but myself.

think about what they are doing over there... and what you just did. not that i condone their/your behavior but you are being a hypocrite. and yes, if you don't wear at least a helmet you are a f'ing moron and darwinism should apply to you.

Oh I wear a helmet, always, gloves too. But that's not my point. My point was that it seems that they try and force their opinion on you and if you don't conform then they chastize you. That's messed up. And talking sh*t about stunting... I mean, c'mon, get over it. It's a major part of the sport/scene, and they are just hating. Maybe it's cuz they all ride R1s and still haven't figured out how to that sh*t...

Dude, This thread is stupid, and anyone who choses not to where gear is stupid. The majority of the guys that I know, that wear full leathers do so because the way they ride requires it. There is a big difference between doing 5mph circles, or 12's, and doin 140 with your knee on the concrete. The vast majority of kids that wreck their bikes and get killed are the ones that buy a brand new gixxer just to learn how to stunt, try to wheelie before they can make a u-turn. The old heads know this, and try to make a good impression. Most of the stunters that I see riding, couldn't hold a line on a tight twisty to save their life. Now there are exceptions, and I am very aware of this, but most of the young kids don't but bikes to take to a track. They buy them to show off for females. A new impressionable young rider needs to have someone tell them to wear gear. If you don't want to wear it then cool, it's your skin. But you getting all pi$$ed off about someone suggesting gear makes you sound like an idiot. In reference to them not being able to ride, being able to rock 10 mile wheelies, and having some rear break control, doesn't necessarily make someone a good rider. It means you can do tricks in a straight line.

Agreed, same here, i'm better at twisties than most riders in this area, and my stunts were coming along at a pretty fast rate......like in a months time from first figuring out how to finally pull a stand up, I was riding them out almost a mile. Either way, I wear my gear.

Some of the people on this site make stunters look bad. Dude, how old are you guys! Are you saying that the only people that buy r1's stunt, and don't wear gear? Yamaha didn't make r1's to be stunted, they were made to race, and to turn. I know p[lenty of people that ride them, and they ride at a level that most people will never experience. Guess what....they all wear gear. Maybe not full leathers, but always a helmet jacket and gloves. As far as your pretty lips comment, Id love to see you on track, or in the canyons, because you probally wouldn't last very long....except maybe on the staightaways.

Wow, seems like some people lost the whole point of this thread... Everyone knows to wear safety gear. I do it, most of the time. But I got my bare essentials: helmet and gloves, most of the time a jacket. But I'm getting off track now too. What I was saying is that there are alot of people out there that flame other people because they don't conform. The whole thing started because some guy was talking about his wreck and the fact that he didn't wear his jacket, then all of a sudden, a bunch of people come on calling him an idiot and flaming him. That's bullshit, don't you guys think that his wreck is enough pain? Some people obviously think not and think they have to take it upon themselves to state the what everyone already knows... So read the thread before you start running your mouth, unless arguing is something you enjoy doing online...
