2004 Gixxer 6

Just curious if anybody here has checked out the new suzuki gsx-r 600. It is completely redesigned for 2004....all kinds of new goodies....radial mounted front brakes, inverted front forks, best power to weight ratio in the 600 class...those are just to name a few. If anybody here is curious about it just got to suzuki.com and check it out. What do you guys think about all of that??

this should be a good bike for riding and stunting = more power than the old gixxer 6, less weight, and a shorter wheelbase.

Nope, thats the new 600, and the 600/750 do look identical. Suzuki updated the 600 and the 750 for 2004. Here is a link to the 2004 gixxer 6 on suzuki's website.

Also, if you look closely, the paint job is different is different between the 600 and 750. It can be seen in the pics that i submitted of the 600 and the ones that k-dog submitted of the 750. The 600 has blue down on low on the lowers on the sides while the 750 is white down there.....and i'm not trying to be a dick or anything lol...just trying to make sure that there is not any confusion....

Man.. the new 750 is gonna be where its at in a couple years as soon as they are more common and people start wreckin them. The yellow and black 750 is so damn out of control.. I am gonna have a hard time not getting one. The new frames are gonna be alot better than the current gixxers, as well as the subframes.. They mount up alot better than those old dinky tabs on the current ones. They are zuks though... so I guess we will see how they hold up in the next year.

Well as far as horsepower figures go, suzuki has claimed that the new 600 will have the best power to weight ratio in the 600cc class. Its weight has been dropped from 359 to 354 and the power has been increased. The 750 has had an increase in horsepower and also had a weight reduction. The new 750 is going to weight the same as the old 600 did at 359lbs. All of these numbers and such are from suzuki's website. The actual horsepower specs are not out yet. This may help though....the 636 kawa weighs in the 350's and makes about 108 hp the r6 weighs in the 350's too and makes 105 and the new gixxer weighs 354 and is susposed to have the best power to weight ratio of all of them...so it should be a pretty good...hope this helps...and i'll post some actually numbers as soon as i get them...
