Tire Pressures

Just curious as to why certian people lower there tire pressures for stunting. I would just like to know how it helps.

and what would you put your tire at?

I leave 25psi in my rear and like 30 in my front. The only reason I put in 25psi is to corner wheelies better. Other guy's need lower pressure for 12's

Whatever you do don't lower your rear pressure too much. I dropped mine down pretty low because it's been cold and it spins when I wheelie. But I found out the hard way when you land stoppies sideways very hard, learning 180's, it will bend the crap out of your rim. Not a very cheap mistake.

Just my .02 cents of experience.

BLEAVE IT OR NOT, BUT I RUN 8-12 PSI WHEN STUNTING..AND SOMETIMES I FORGET ABOUT IT AND RIDE AROUND WITH 8-12 PSI AND RIDE IT LIKE I GOT 30PSI....I GET USE TO IT AFTER A LITTLE, JUST WHEN THE TIRE IS COLD IT KINDA WANTS TO SLIDE OUT ...AND THE REASON FOR LOW TIRE PSI IS TO KEEP IT STABLE AT LOW SPEED ****.:D

PRESSURE

I RUN AT 12-15PSI FOR 12'S, ANY LOWER AND YOU RUN THE RISK OF EITHER FLATSPOTTING THE RIM OR POPPIN' THE TIRE OFF THE BEAD. LOWER AIR PRESSURE MEANS MORE LOW SPEED STABILITY.
