Hey "thewib" when we gonna ride? check the stl ride forum were going to hit the river road sunday.

And yeah deffinetly check the battery before trying anything else its the easiest way.

motor is not locked up..the rings are fryed though...so im sendin off to chigiao to get fixed. buddy of mine has a shop out there and he is goin to do the work for free so its goin to be a few more weeks till i can ride again

RECTIFIER....

I think your Rectifier is bad. It is the gray/silver square that is mounted to the left of your subframe. If that goes bad it will not hold a charge and your bike will not crank over. Mine just went bad and if my bike was anywhere beween 250-260 it would not crack up. I had to let it cool down for at least 20 mintues.

See if you can borrow somebodies first to make sure it is that, because they can be pretty expensive.

ill check it. right now im lookin at a messed up solenoid for sure, i got the motor loose and turning again. ehhhhhh.....this is goin to be expencive.....jimmy...lol i dont know any other riders out here that i could ask....ehhh...ill figure out a way to get it going again...i think i remember how to bench test rectifiers

honda's are the way to go... Ive owned 2 hondas and one GSXR.

I **** pounded my f3 and it never had a problem.

**** pounded my gsxr......I still think to this day the bike just hates me. Garbage!

2000f4 I love it. Strong runner. Always greattt!!

I love the way honda's ride, handle, sound, and how reliable they are.

lol i dont hink i can ever go back to a 600 now...the 750s are way to fun...rode my buddys 750 and was OMG.....fell in love...cant go back now
