929 running like SHYT!!! What to do???
Looped my 929 in may and it flipped down the road a few times. Replaced subframe, wheel etc now bike runs on only a couple of cylinders. Checked ECU and it's good. Have good spark on all plugs. Checked resistance at each injector and between 11.4-11.6 ohms. and theres 12.4 volts going to each injector with the key in on possition and switch set to run. What could be making bike run on 2 or 3 cyl's only? I thought maybe dirty injectors so I put some of that TEKRON injector cleaner in the tank. Supposed to be good stuff. How long should I have to run bike with injector cleaner to see a diference? I heard that alot of injectors are cleaned ultrasonicaly. The gas in my tank is old (still from May) but I doubt the fuel could of jelled up that bad so quick and clog stuff up. Please help me.

Ya i did the code check and if you translate the blinks into Honda code it says # 2 & 4 injector problet, Throttle position sensor, IAT sensor, but I had some of those codes before I flipped the bike. I cleared the codes, started bike and most of the same codes pop up.

On my bike, although older, I had a problem with running on 3 cyclinders. No one could figure it out until they started taking apart. The first thing was thinking it was the carbs. The reason for this is it was running really rich. You could rub the black off the exhaust after like a 20min ride. I had the carbs rebuilt which after the guy checked it out he noticed it wasn't the carbs at all. The he ran a compression check on all the cyclinders. That pointed out exactly who was acting up in line. It truned out to be a bent valve. He said over reving could cause this condition although there are many other reasons why a valve would hit the piston and get screwed up. I say do a leak down test (shouldn't be too expensive) to see for sure you know which cyclinder is (if this is it) the culprit. Its hard to say as I don't know much about the bikes with fuel injection as I 've never owned one......
Good Luck with it.

I would drain the tank and put fresh gas in before I tried anything
Also hook up a noid light to your injectors to see if there getting a pulse
Just because the ohm out and have 12 volts doesn't mean there getting a pulse from the ecu.
I believe the injectors always has power and the ecu just supplies a pulsed ground to make them fire.
Also the leak down test is the best thing you can do if you think its a major mechanical problem rather then a fuel delivery/ignition problem.

Do 929's run a pulse generator? I had a Honda that used to periodicaly just drop to 2 or 3 cylanders. Some times I could rev it and it would be fine, some times it just wouldnt do anything. I turned out to be the pulse generator. But I dont know if a 929 would even have one of those..........
